The Adventures of Penelope Star and the Mystery of the Three Dragons....
is just the kind of story you will want a young juvenile chapter book lover to read.
Why?
Because it is full of intrigue, friendship and even involves the young and old.
Penelope and her best friend, Dolly delve into the many old legends that are whispered quietly among the citizens of Dragon Point.
Grams and Tati provide insight into the secrets and legends of the small tourist town, helping the young mystery seekers on their summer adventure.
Penelope and Dolly are joined by Eddie, Billy, and Ben and this "Fearless Five" encounter big surprises!
They even learn a bit of history with their mystery.
While creating The Adventures of Penelope Star and the Mystery of the Three Dragons, I knew that Penny, Dolly, Billy, Eddie, and Ben, who are known as the Fearless Five, had lots of adventures to pursue.
After all, they are best of friends, and Dragon Point, Maine (the small town that they live in) is just filled with secrets, hidden passage ways, buried treasure, stories of pirates, and maybe even a
ghost or two.

Paula Ezop
I absolutely love writing for children. It takes you to a place where all things are possible, a place where dreams come true and fantasy becomes reality. Bears can talk, mountains can move, dogs can sing, and alligators can dance. You bring all of the characters that exist in your mind to life, they become real, and you have the pleasure of sharing them with everyone who reads your books.
When you are a writer, ideas are always popping into your head. Suddenly you will think of a story line, or a great place for a story. Characters will jump out at you, and you know everything about them, the color of their hair and eyes, how tall or how short they are, what they like and what they dislike, you even know what their voice sounds like. Your ideas arrive at the craziest times – mostly when you are in the shower and you just hope that you are able to remember them!
Writing for children is simply the best, most fantabulous, and superlicious fun thing that I can do – why you even get to make up your own words! Yes, the Fearless Five became real and made their debut in their first adventure The Mystery of the Three Dragons. And, that’s what makes writing for children so exciting, to see your characters come to life!
