I began writing my first stories as a child. Though the genres, topics and characters changed as I changed, my love for writing stories for children has
never ceased.
With the birth of each son came inspiration, but also a great deal of responsibility, growth and very little time to sleep let alone write. Now that they are leaving babyhood behind and moving into childhood, they provide plenty of entertainment.
Occasionally, I may sneak away to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard. My first story was completely inspired by the amazing experience my family underwent with the birth of my second son. We knew that he would somehow complete our family and we believed firmly that we should all be there to share it. Hence, my first book: The Mischief of the Murphy Brothers: Seamus's Brother Liam is Born. Scheduled release Fall 2010.
Through my books I hope to be able to connect with other moms going through similar experiences with their children. That we may lean on one another and share in this most precious time in the lives of our families.
